Certified true copies are the single most common cause of avoidable delay. Bring the originals, confirm how many copies each application needs, and check whether the office receiving them accepts a copy certified by a notary public.
Who may give immigration advice in Canada
It is worth knowing how the rules work: in Canada, only authorized representatives may give immigration advice or represent an applicant for a fee — that means lawyers, Quebec notaries, and immigration consultants who are members of the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants. Document services such as notarization and commissioning are separate from representation.

Can you tell me which immigration program I should apply under?
In Canada, only authorized representatives — lawyers, Quebec notaries, and consultants registered with the College of Immigration and Citizenship Consultants — may advise on or represent an application for a fee. What we do here is the document side: notarizing, commissioning and certifying the paperwork your application requires.

Do I need an appointment?
We are open 7 days a week: Mon – Fri: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm, Sat – Sun: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Call 416-951-3301 before visiting so we can have everything ready — same-day and last-minute visits are usually no problem.
What should I bring?
A valid government-issued photo ID (Passport or Driver’s License) and your documents, unsigned — the notary must witness your signature. If you need certified copies, bring the original documents. Free printing and copying is available.
