How much does a notary cost for Toronto residents?
Notarization is $20 for the first document, $15 each for 2–5, and $10 each for 5+. Affidavits, powers of attorney and invitation letters are $70; apostille is $100. Fees are per notarization signature, not per document. Cash and e-Transfer accepted.
Do I need an appointment, or can I walk in from Toronto?
Both work. We are open Mon – Fri: 10:00 am – 6:30 pm and Sat – Sun: 12:00 pm – 4:00 pm. Walk-ins are welcome, but calling 416-951-3301 ahead means we can have everything ready and avoid any wait.
What should I bring?
A valid government-issued photo ID (passport or driver’s licence) and your documents, unsigned — the notary must witness your signature. For certified copies, bring the originals. Free printing and copying is available on site.
